An unmanned aerial vehicle or drone (UAV) is an aircraft that can be monitored remotely or fly independently, using a pre-programmed flight plan or using complex autonomous dynamic systems. It is equipped with a 20 MPX RGB camera, and in the field of geology it is used for photographing hard-to-reach or inaccessible terrain. The obtained images can also be used in photogrammetry, to obtain a 3D model of the relief.
