When FTIR is coupled to a thermogravimetric analyzer (TG) via a TG / IR interface, it is possible to analyze involved gases generated by heating the samples in a thermogravimetric analyzer at a temperature of 50 ° C to 950 ° C in an atmosphere of synthetic air, nitrogen and oxygen with simultaneous monitoring of sample mass change.
