The universal testing machine is used for the definition of basic mechanical characteristics of the materials, in research and development, as well as in control of the quality of materials and quality control of products. On the mechanical tensile testing machine, a universal tensile test is carried out to determine the behavior of the material at uniaxial static tensile stress. The method determines the basic mechanical properties of materials such as yielding, ultimate tensile strength, elongation, and contraction.

Four measuring ranges 0 - 0.5 kN, 0 - 10 kN, 0 - 25 kN and 0 - 50 kN; stretching speed in range from 0 to 150 mm/min; testing furnace for high temperature testings up to 1200 °C. The device has a mechanical analog recording of diagram on the paper.
