Martindale Tester is used for the determination of the resistance of textile fabrics and leather to abrasion, as well as determination of fabric propensity to surface fuzzing and pilling.
The instrument has 6 working positions and is equipped with special sample holders for abrasion and peeling testing, 9 kPa and 12 kPa weights, circular sample cutters with diameter 38 mm, 70 mm and 140 mm, reference materials and reference photographs.
