Chamber is used to expose specimens to a 5 % salt solution that is dispersed within the chamber and falls on the specimen with a speed of 1,0 to 2,0 ml/80cm²/hour at the temperature of 35 °C and air relative humidity between 95 % and 100 %.
It is used for comparative tests of corrosion resistance.
Equipment satisfies the requirements of standard ASTM B117 – 16 "Standard Practice for Operating Salt Spray (Fog) Apparatus".
