The CHNS analyser is based on
the classical PreglDumas method
where samples are combusted in
a pure oxygen environment, with
the resultant combustion gases
measured in an automated fashion.
The system is comprised of four
major zones: combustion zone,
gas control zone, separation zone
and detection zone.
Combustion approach is static
and dynamic. A mixture of two
combustion techniques ensures
complete sample combustion.
