UV-VIS NIR SPECTROFOTOMETER 3600Plus
The UV-3600 Plus is designed mainly for the measurement of liquid samples. But a wide range of accessories, such as the multipurpose large-sample compartment (MPC-603) with integrating sphere and three detectors, enables measurement of solid samples. With the guaranteed precision of the ASR Series (Absolute Specular Reflectance) attachments, high accuracy absolute reflectance measurements are possible. Various cell holders, like the constant-temperature cell holder and ultra-micro cell holder, can also be mounted to extend measurement possibilities.

Shimadzu UV-VIS-NIR UV-3600Plus spectrophotometer ensures high sensitivity, high resolution and ultra-low stray-light level which is achieved with the latest technology.
High sensitivity is achieved with 3 detectors: standard detectors PMT and cooled PbS for ultraviolet and visible region and for near-infrared region, respectively. There is a drop in sensitivity in the crossover between the regions covered respectively by the PMT and the PbS detector and for insurance of high sensitivity across entire measured wavelength range InGaAs detector is used. The 1,500-nm noise level does not rise above 0.00003 Abs.
Using a high-performance double monochromator makes it possible to attain an ultra-low stray-light level (0.00005% max. at 340 nm) with a high resolution (maximum resolution: 0.1 nm). The wide wavelength range of 185 to 3,300 nm enables measurement over the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions. Instrument has integrating sphere attachment which enables measurement of solid samples and a thermoelectrically temperature controlled cell holder which enables spectrophotometric measurement of samples on different temperatures.
